Vegetarian food for some is a tried, tested and preferred cuisine choice.
For others it's a new journey. A challenge for the senses as well as a different way of approaching the dining experience.
Suffice to say that we have stopped counting the number of diners who have enjoyed and celebrated their vegetarian choice(s).

A general rule of thumb when selecting vegetarian food would be: stop thinking - "it's vegetarian!"

Our confidence comes from our years of restaurant experience.  People having to select unfamiliar items from a menu that appeared to lack the central 'character that defined the dish ie. meat.
It didn't take too long before hunger and the aroma of food being prepared -plus observing dishes as they passed their table seemed to have the effect of offering a sudden burst of culinary courage.

We still have fond memories of a person who became one of our regulars scooping up mushroom sauce with his fingers becauase the fork was too slow saying; "there were two foods I hated all my life, eggplant and mushroom."
No one praised our eggplant parmigiana w' mushroom higher than him.
